Local events hosted by NZSTI branches around the country and open to everyone
NZSTI has three local branches: Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury (Christchurch). These branches play a key role in serving our members in those areas by organising local in-person events throughout the year (presentations, social events, and more). These provide an opportunity for NZSTI members to come together, discuss industry-related issues and questions, and connect with colleagues.
While most branch events are for members only, the branches also organise events open to non-members, which offer a great opportunity for T&I professionals and students to discover NZSTI and meet others working in the industry.
You must be logged in to register for events and access discounted prices (if applicable). If you do not yet have an NZSTI account, please create one before registering, by following this helpful guide.

Event Detail

Wellington Branch members and any others in town - join us (in person!) to celebrate International Translators' Day on 30th September.
Meet at the Southern Cross Bar at 39 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro, Wellington from 5:30pm to 7:30. The branch will provide a few nibbles but drinks and any more substantial eats are your responsibility. There's no agenda - this is just a chance to meet and chat.
Please let Mandy Hewett know if you are planning to come so that we can monitor numbers and book a space if necessary. You can find Mandy's email address on her NZSTI profile.
Hope to see you there,
Mandy (branch president)
