NZSTI attended the launch of MBIE's Language Assistance Services programme on 1 July 2024, marking the introduction of the requirement for interpreters to hold NAATI certification in order to work for New Zealand government agencies.
We encourage interpreters to join NZSTI in order to continue their professional development journey, receive support from their peers, enjoy discounts on PD events and easily obtain the recertification points required to renew their NAATI certification every three years.
