Disclaimer: This list is published by the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI). NZSTI has a rigorous system of qualification approval and admittance to ensure the highest performance standard of any member in the directory. Nevertheless, the responsibility for any particular work carried out rests solely with the member selected. Furthermore, the member is responsible for any additional information included in their profile.
Note that 'NAATI-certified' is included on the directory's list of specialisations as an indication only. For NZSTI members who have noted on their profile that they hold NAATI certification, we recommend that you confirm with the member that their certification is current in the languages that you require. For translation, please also check that the language direction meets your needs as certification is awarded from one language into another.
NZSTI Membership Levels
- Full Members are the most highly qualified practitioners in the chosen language pair. Full Member translators may use their NZSTI stamp to certify documents. The stamp shows their name and their language pair and direction.
- Affiliates are those practitioners who do not meet the criteria for Full Member status. The list of Affiliates may also include Full Members who hold Affiliate status in the language pair selected.
