Following her very popular presentation at the NZSTI Auckland Branch meeting this week, we’ve been lucky to secure Chris Durban for a bonus last-minute webinar before she flies back to France. Join us for a special Saturday presentation to learn about language services in the luxury hotel sector. Chris will be chatting with Damien Brown, Operations Manager at Eichardt’s Private Hotel (Queenstown, NZ). This will be followed by a Q&A session.

Chris Durban is a Paris-based French–English translator specialising in business texts. She translates every day and enjoys it immensely. Her freelance portfolio includes large corporations and SMEs and focuses on high-profile, high-visibility and high-risk situations in business strategy, investor relations and financial communications. She is a member of SFT (France) and a Fellow of ITI (UK) and has been recognised by SFT, ITI and the American Translators’ Association for her contributions to the profession.

Chris has written many articles about translation and has given talks and workshops around the world. She is co-author of two books, The Prosperous Translator and 101 Things a Translator Needs to Know.

This free webinar is also open to non-members so grab a colleague who you think might enjoy being inspired by Chris. The webinar will be recorded and made available to NZSTI members for a limited time. We hope to see as many of you as possible at the live event, but if you can’t join us on the day, you can visit our website later to watch the recording.

No registration required.
