Join Dr. Vanessa Enríquez Raído as she delves deeper into some of the key topics introduced in her previous presentation, "AI-Powered Translation for Professional Translators and Interpreters” (2023) and shares updates on the latest developments in leading large language models (LLMs) and their game-changing applications in professional translation practice.

Vanessa will be exploring the main functions of leading large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and Perplexity. This webinar equips professional translators with the latest insights and practical applications of these AI tools in translation-oriented natural language processing (NLP) tasks. Dr. Enríquez Raído will guide participants through the key capabilities of these LLMs, including text summarization, complex concept clarification, contextual translation assistance, terminology extraction and management, automated quality assurance and multilingual support.

This webinar is tailored for professionals engaged in translation tasks, including those involved in topic preparation and terminology extraction for interpreting assignments. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the practical applications of LLMs to enhance their translation efficiency and accuracy.
