Local events hosted by NZSTI branches around the country and open to everyone

NZSTI has three local branches: Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury (Christchurch). These branches play a key role in serving our members in those areas by organising local in-person events throughout the year (presentations, social events, and more). These provide an opportunity for NZSTI members to come together, discuss industry-related issues and questions, and connect with colleagues.

While most branch events are for members only, the branches also organise events open to non-members, which offer a great opportunity for T&I professionals and students to discover NZSTI and meet others working in the industry.

You must be logged in to register for events and access discounted prices (if applicable). If you do not yet have an NZSTI account, please create one before registering, by following this helpful guide.

Everyone loves the opportunity for a chat and a good catch-up over a coffee, right? And we’re back with another Coffee & Chat! So come and join your fellow translators and interpreters at Divine Patisserie (240 Ormiston Road, Flat Bush) at 11.30am–1pm on Sunday, 4 August.

Our regular Coffee & Chat events were a great hit last year so let’s continue to be sociable over coffee! Your friendly Auckland branch is even paying for the drinks* so do come and join us. Do you know any practicing translators or interpreters who are not NZSTI members yet? Bring them along, we’ll shout them a coffee too.

*One coffee or other drink per person.
