Local events hosted by NZSTI branches around the country and open to everyone

NZSTI has three local branches: Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury (Christchurch). These branches play a key role in serving our members in those areas by organising local in-person events throughout the year (presentations, social events, and more). These provide an opportunity for NZSTI members to come together, discuss industry-related issues and questions, and connect with colleagues.

While most branch events are for members only, the branches also organise events open to non-members, which offer a great opportunity for T&I professionals and students to discover NZSTI and meet others working in the industry.

You must be logged in to register for events and access discounted prices (if applicable). If you do not yet have an NZSTI account, please create one before registering, by following this helpful guide.

Join us for a drink at our next Coffee and Chat branch event at Muy Muy in central city (come find us in the Courtyard).  Let’s celebrate International Translation Day which falls on 30 September!

This event is open to everyone so bring along any translators and interpreters you know and introduce them to NZSTI. It’s a perfect opportunity to socialise, connect and network with colleagues in the T&I community.  You can also meet the members of the branch committee and chat to us about any ideas you have for future branch activities or ask questions about what the committee does and how you can get involved.

Parking on nearby streets.

If you are an NZSTI member, the first coffee (or other hot/cold drink) is on us!
