NZSTI is pleased to announce that our 2025 conference will be hosted with Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington. This year's theme, Past, Present, Future: Shaping the Legacy of Translation and Interpreting, invites us to reflect on the evolution of our professions, delving into the milestones and lessons that have shaped the field, the dynamic challenges and innovations influencing our present, and the opportunities and aspirations that lie ahead. This theme celebrates the essential role of translators and interpreters in connecting cultures and communities, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding across time. It is a call to examine where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we could go—shaping the future of our work and its enduring impact on a rapidly changing world.
