Would you like to be part of building a local NZSTI community in Waikato and the Bay of Plenty? Are you interested in connecting with other translators and interpreters in your region and shaping future opportunities?
This event marks the founding meeting of the new NZSTI Waikato and Bay of Plenty branch. Members in the region are invited to come together to formally establish the branch and elect a committee that will lead local activity moving forward.
The meeting will cover the formal establishment process in line with NZSTI requirements, followed by the election of a five-member committee, including the roles of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two additional committee members. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about what is involved in each role and how they can contribute to building a strong and connected regional network.
This session will be relevant for translators and interpreters based in Waikato and the Bay of Plenty who are interested in local networking, professional development, and contributing to the profession at a regional level. It is also a great opportunity to meet others in your area and be part of shaping the direction and activities of the new branch.
The meeting will take place in Hamilton, with a Zoom option available to support participation from across the region.
