Speaker: Vanya Vida, Senior Policy Advisor, Office of the Privacy Commissioner

This is your opportunity to learn more about the requirements of New Zealand’s existing Privacy Act and the changes introduced by the new Act due to come into force on 1 December 2020. The presentation will also touch on Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how this applies to anyone working with Europe-based clients.

If you have any specific questions relating to data privacy that you would like Vanya to cover, please email info@nzsti.org by Thursday 16 July to let us know (subject: Privacy presentation question).

Hosted by the NZSTI Auckland Branch but open to all NZSTI members.
We look forward to seeing you online!
