From July 2024, interpreters will need to hold NAATI certification to work for NZ government departments. NZSTI is hosting an online session where education providers from around the country can introduce the interpreting courses and training options they offer.

The session will consist of brief presentations by each representative outlining their programme, followed by a Q&A session.

Our goal is to make interpreters aware of the different training options that may be available to them through the MBIE-funded scheme and help them gather information to achieve NAATI certification.

This is a free online presentation, but you need to register to attend. Log in (NZSTI members) or create a profile to register. Registrations close on 8 December 2021. The zoom link will be emailed to registered participants on 9 December.
