In conjunction with the NZSTI Conference 2025, NZSTI is hosting a face-to-face NAATI CPI Test Preparation Workshop in Wellington on Friday 12 September 2025. This is an all day, in-person workshop with a maximum of 21 people. Attendees will need to bring their own lunch and/or snacks as catering will not be provided.

Register for a NAATI Certified Provisional Interpreter test preparation workshop to find out what to expect during the test and to brush up on the skills you will be tested on.
WHAT IS COVERED
- Information about CPI testing, such as format, topics and demonstrations.
- CPI marking and expectations of performance
- Managing interaction
- Practice interpreting role-plays and feedback
These workshops are aimed at people who have met the minimum training required by NAATI and who are therefore eligible to sit for a NAATI test.
These workshops are designed to support interpreters in achieving the new certification requirement, meaning that those who hold a valid entitlement note from may attend this workshop free of charge. You must upload your entitlement note to your NZSTI profile (first create a profile if you are not yet a member) before registering for the event in order to be able to attend free of charge.
There is a maximum of 21 participants for this workshop. Due to the limited numbers, preference will be given to interpreters who hold a valid current entitlement note.
