Local events hosted by NZSTI branches around the country and open to everyone

NZSTI has three local branches: Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury (Christchurch). These branches play a key role in serving our members in those areas by organising local in-person events throughout the year (presentations, social events, and more). These provide an opportunity for NZSTI members to come together, discuss industry-related issues and questions, and connect with colleagues.

While most branch events are for members only, the branches also organise events open to non-members, which offer a great opportunity for T&I professionals and students to discover NZSTI and meet others working in the industry.

Wednesday, 14 December 2022 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm dinner Williams Eatery G03/85 Daldy St, Auckland 1010   Registrations close 11.59 pm, Thursday 8 December.   Come and celebrate the end of a busy year with your translation & interpreting whānau. We are meeting at Williams Eatery in the Wynyard Quarter, a restaurant that specialises in serving seasonal and sustainable produce from local suppliers. Like every year, this is your chance to catch up with your fellow Auckland branch members, look back on everything we’ve achieved and plan for 2023. And it’s an excellent opportunity to just have a laugh and enjoy the company! You are very welcome to bring a guest with you. If you are vegetarian, vegan or have food allergies, please include details with your registration for this event.
