Livestreamed Panel Discussion: Competence

Time: 5:30 pm, Wednesday 28 November

Place: Interpreting New Zealand offices, Level 5, 186 Willis St, Wellington

(INZ and NZSTI members only.)

According to our Code of Ethics, translators and interpreters must only undertake work they are competent to perform. But what does that mean in practice?

A joint training event provided by NZSTI and INZ will bring together experienced practitioners of both translation and interpreting, including spoken and sign languages, to discuss this question.

If you are in Wellington, you are welcome to come along in person to share some refreshments and exchange your own views with your colleagues.

Cantabrians are also invited to view the panel discussion collectively from the INZ premises in Christchurch. If you wish to join the livestreaming from the comfort of your own home, email to register.
