Local events hosted by NZSTI branches around the country and open to everyone

NZSTI has three local branches: Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury (Christchurch). These branches play a key role in serving our members in those areas by organising local in-person events throughout the year (presentations, social events, and more). These provide an opportunity for NZSTI members to come together, discuss industry-related issues and questions, and connect with colleagues.

While most branch events are for members only, the branches also organise events open to non-members, which offer a great opportunity for T&I professionals and students to discover NZSTI and meet others working in the industry.

Event Detail

Thursday, 29 September 2022
6.30 pm - 8.00 pm
Meeting Room at McDonald's Riccarton, Cnr Riccarton Road & Matipo St

Come join us at our Canterbury branch meeting. It’s a great chance to mingle with like-minded language professionals over a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

Let's reflect on the recent NZSTI online conference and chat about the presentations you enjoyed. With a total of 23 sessions, there were plenty to choose from. Recordings of the sessions are available to delegates so you can catch up if you missed any.

And our exciting news is that the NZSTI Conference 2023 will be offline (yay!), and in Christchurch! This is a wonderful opportunity for our branch to organize the event, so let's start planning it by putting together a team of enthusiastic professionals and sharing ideas. Get in touch with us by emailing info@nzsti.org if you are interested in getting involved or want to know more about it.
