Come and join us for a catch up followed by an NZSTI café
After all the disruptions and previous cancellations, this is going to be our first in-person branch meeting for 2020! So come and enjoy the chance to socialise and catch up with colleagues. The room will be open from 6.30 pm for time to chat over refreshments with the café discussions starting at 7.00 p.m.
The topics for discussion at this NZSTI café are:
• Privacy requirements and data management (translators)
• Confidentiality, impartiality and managing conflicts of interest (interpreters)
• How COVID has affected our work: dealing with negatives and adjusting to change (all)
Café discussions are informal discussions of a topic in small groups where we talk about our experiences of the issue. At the end, each group summarises the points that have been raised, allowing for wider discussion with the meeting as a whole.
