Rolling Call for Papers
The following journals both have a rolling call for papers:
1) Translation and Interpreting – this is an Australian journal, hosted by the University of Western Sydney - it is Open Access and has quite a high ranking. There are three issues per year and the website is Trans-Int.org
This journal was set up by Professor Sandra Hale and has now been in existence for 8 years. All research articles are sent out for doubleblind peer review. Editor: Associate Professor Mustafa Taibi is the editor; co-editor: Associate Professor Ineke Crezee (AUT).
2) The International Journal of Interpreter Education – this is a USA journal, hosted by the Conference of Interpreter Trainers and only authors and those who are members of CIT can access it. Website: http://www.cit-asl.org/new/ijie/
This journal has been in existence for 8 years, two issues per year. Templates are on the website, and submissions must be in the IJIE template. Authors can submit book reviews, interviews, research articles, or submissions to the Open Forum on things they would like to share with other interpreter educators. Dissertation abstracts are also very welcome, as we like to publish about 4 of these per issue.
All research articles are sent out for doubleblind peer review by two reviewers. Interviews, book reviews and submissions to the Open Forum are sent for doubleblind peer review by one reviewer. Co-editors: George Major (AUT) and Associate Professor Ineke Crezee (AUT).
